Department of Regional Offices

Represented throughout the state

The Department serves all 14 districts and the four urban districts in Brandenburg via its five Regional Offices. 

The employees are the contact persons for regional companies on issues pertaining to technology transfer and research and development (R&D), provide information on innovation funding programmes, assist businesses carrying out innovation projects and support SMEs in their digitalisation projects.

The Department is also responsible for securing skilled employees for companies, supervising cooperation with the regional growth areas in the region, and it supports its partners in initiating and implementing regional development projects. In addition, it is a partner of the regional economic development agencies in the system of cooperative economic development.
