Internationalisation is a decisive success factor for Brandenburg's economy. Every third euro in Brandenburg's industry is earned in exports. And the potential for growth remains high.

The team therefore supports your company in taking its first steps in the international arena and accompanies you all the way to comprehensive market penetration. This includes, for example, an export check, individual consultations, country and thematic events, as well as the mediation to business and cooperation partners abroad.

We also organise your participation in brokerage events and company missions, as well as co-exhibitor at major national and international trade fairs. The Brandenburg trade fair schedule 2026 (the Joint trade fair schedule for the capital regiona 2026) and the Brandenburg Trade fair schedule 2027 list all joint stands, which are supported by the state of Brandenburg and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) - including those of the WFBB.

A special focus of the team is advising on suitable funding opportunities and financing for internationalisation at state, federal and European level.

The WFBB is a partner in the world's largest network for SMEs, the Enterprise Europe Network. Through the network, we provide information, cooperation and funding opportunities for business and science in Europe.

The "AuWi-Portal" also bundles dates and offers such as company trips, trade fairs and events on markets and opportunities for cooperation abroad for companies and institutions in the capital region.
